Drowning In The Clearest SkyDROWNING IN THE CLEAREST SKY

In a dark forest I see life and death and time going backwards as well as forwards

Leaving the path I come too and see a stream compromising, circling unbalance of life
Unable to talk or think, I drown in the clearest sky.

Cynical but thirsty I cup my hands drinking thin air till I disappear

Hearing people not close enough to talk too

No-one else there just my reflection clinging onto my fragile wings of mentality,
Denying thought or expression, making sense I drown in the clearest sky.

All of my sins and all of my inner thoughts folding the wings of time

Stretched out into the opposite this is our lying
Vulnerable OptimismVULNERABLE OPTIMISM

Time
Is untrustworthy
Stop, look and listen
I can't help feeling
I'm stealing someone else's breathe
Threads of optimism
Vulnerable
Cut by dwelling on the negative
Love is ephemeral
Velvet tears
Beautifully decayed

Beneath my skin
Just a kid
Living less is like loving someone too much
Poisoned time
My whole life as been lived in my absence

Space and time
There's light in cuddling yourself.

Passion walks through one door

Of wandering wrong answers into a maze.

The eyelids of capitalism fall together in a wild mirage,
Yesterday’s shadow due today.

Like something almost being said,
An owl spends its lifetime trying to eat out its eyes.

Poisoned by the bliss of ignorance, apples were never sweet.
Forever lost in beauty, flowers in the graves bud never bloom,
Green as greyed but gold remains the same.

A Sigur Ros inspired pic. =)
This is for my fave band and for myself
i've wanted to do a Sigur Ros-ish pic for a long time.
Inspired by their music, artwork and videos.
The title is from their lagið í gær song
that translates as the song from yesterday
it features on their latest album Hvarf- Heim
and their heima dvd. As í gær or simply as yesterday.

This is a bit darker than my usual
stuff this one and my last one are dark yet similar
in style to my previous manips/visual poems.
I hope you like it and hope i'm improving with these
I enjoy making them a lot. =)
