Every Rainfall Finds Shelter by ~DrowningByWords:iconDrowningByWords:

One step forward two steps back
I used to be brave enough
To swim along without a care in the world,
I used to wonder and explore
Dreaming of the future under the stars alone,
It’s never to late too turn back
But all I want to do is look away and hide
Turning back makes me wish I was the boy I never was.

Love against the tide,
Although it’s hard
Far away eyes,
Start the rain
You’re brave;
You’re brave,
You’re brave.

It’s not easy
Within the wind and rain
Found my way again
It falls far away from my self,
You’re beautiful;
You’re beautiful,
You understand it all
We’ve found our way
But I wish you knew
How beautiful you really are.

I was afraid of everything and uncomfortably alone
Wishing the world would disappear, I never knew how brave I was
Till I realised I am not alone beneath the stars.

Aimlessly bobbing along bumping into rocks
Before we fall into pieces and turn the world upside down.

Can we fight the tide?
Walking in and out of the heart
Can we outlast the wind?

Future gives us the sea until the beginning
All I can do is dream glued to the sky back to the end,
Sometimes I feel like I’m underwater till the beginning.

Summer drifts away patiently
Like clouds of damaged hearts,
Broken things can sometimes be fixed
Spring melts away frozen hearts,
Summer helps us escape but summer never forgets
In another season of ghosts every rainfall brings shelter.

This is a beautiful poem. I'm glad you wrote it. I haven't seen many new poems of yours posted lately. So, this was really great to read. There are some really lovely and thoughtful lines and I enjoyed reading them. Good work. Btw, it shows that you spent some time writing this and it came out well. I'm glad you had some inspiration. Wes Anderson movies are cool. I especially love The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore! :) :flowerpot: :butterfly:

I hugged Fran Healy (the lead singer of Travis) in Downtown Disney. :cuddle: :D
Now, I really do believe that Disneyland is The Happiest Place on Earth. :faint: :)
